A prominent recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a candidate with strong business leadership skills and 5–8 years of experience in technical sales or product management. The role involves developing business strategies, managing customer accounts, and leading cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business strategies in alignment with company goals.
Manage P&L performance, revenue targets, forecasting, and profitability.
Monitor market trends and identify new growth or product opportunities.
Conduct regular business reviews and report performance to management.
Drive development of key customer accounts and business opportunities.
Support sales teams on solution proposals, pre-sales engagements, and negotiations.
Build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
Address critical commercial or delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee full product lifecycle from introduction to phase‑out.
Collaborate with suppliers, principals, and internal technical teams to ensure product relevance.
Evaluate cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin performance.
Support product training for internal teams and customers where required.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, QA, and Procurement teams across regional sites.
Support planning for assembly operations, technical builds, and supplier localization.
Ensure processes are aligned with company policies and quality standards.
Lead and develop a cross‑functional team (Sales, Applications, Product roles).
Set clear performance objectives aligned with BU goals.
Foster a collaborative, growth‑focused team culture.
Support talent development and succession planning.
Requirements:
5–8 years’ experience in technical sales, business management, applications, or product management.
Experience in optical, mechanical, photonics, instrumentation, or precision engineering industries is preferred.
Proven experience leading teams and managing key customer or supplier accounts.
Familiarity with regional supplier/principal management.
Experience with assembly/production operations is an added advantage.
