Job summary

A leading petrochemical firm in Singapore is seeking a Technician to ensure safe and optimal operations in their refinery. Responsibilities include managing process units and conducting troubleshooting during plant activities. Candidates should have a diploma in engineering or relevant certifications, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. This position requires the ability to work shifts in a demanding environment, offering a salary range of SGD 2,400 to SGD 3,500 monthly.

Qualifications

About Us

Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

Job Description

(Annual Gross Salary: S$46,000 to S$50,000)

Process Technicians:

  • Ensure safe and optimal operation of process units.
  • Ensure workplace safety by proper asset upkeep, supporting function testing on safeguarding system and proper control on work activities in the plant.
  • Participate in plant shutdown & start-up and process unit troubleshooting work activities.

Oil Movement Technicians:

  • Perform and ensure safe and efficient day-to-day operations of oil movement area so that movement and blending of products are in accordance with specification.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or NITEC in any Engineering/Science discipline OR
  • At least GCE 'O' level with equivalent with credits in English, Mathematics, Science (Physics or Chemistry).
  • Fresh ITE / Polytechnic engineering graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
Other Information
  • Able to work shift hours in hot & noisy environment which will involve work-at-height.
