Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor cum Procurement professional based in Singapore. The candidate will perform administrative duties on contracts, negotiate terms, analyze risks, and source suppliers. A diploma or bachelor's degree in QS, Civil, or Mechanical engineering is required along with strong organizational skills and proficiency in ERP software and MS Excel. This role will involve ensuring smooth logistics and documentation management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in QS/Civil/Mechanical engineering is required.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills are necessary.
  • Candidate should be independent and self-motivated.
  • Experience in using ERP software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is a must.

About the job Quantity Surveyor cum Procurement

Responsibilities
  • Perform the duties on administration of main contracts, sub-contracts, budgeting, cost control, material requisition and handling contractual matters;
  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions and pricing and follow up to ensure execution according to the negotiated terms;
  • Analyse and report on specific risks associated with contracts;
  • Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in teams of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services;
  • Find new supplier to compare the pricing and extend scope of existing supplier. Prepare purchase orders, work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, logistics partners, warehouse, to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics flow;
  • Ensure all documentation of records are up to date and filed accordingly;
  • Initiate, maintain & update of QEOHS related documentations;
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superio;
Requirements
  • Diploma/ Bachelors degree in QS/Civil/Mechanical engineering;
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills;
  • Independent and self-motivated;
  • Experience in using ERP software;
  • Proficient with MS Excel;
