Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of quantity surveying including site meetings and tender management. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Job description

Carry out all aspects of works related to quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Attend site survey, tender briefing, clarification and coordination with client.
• Involve in tender, taking off measurement, sourcing for quotation and costing analysis.
• Understanding of contractual terms and conditions, including Bill of quantities.
• Responsible for prepare sub-contract agreement, prepare and assess claim cert & payment to sub-contractor.
• Submission of monthly progress claim and progress report to client and resolve clarification.
• Ensure the construction project is completed within its projected budget.
• To attend site meeting and progress claim meeting.
• Responsible for all project administrative works.
• Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent with at least 5 years' relevant working experience.
• Candidate must possess Civil, Structural Steel and/or Metal Works QS experience.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in QS preferable in construction industry.
• Meticulous, Independent with good communication skills.
