Job summary

A construction and surveying firm in Singapore is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to handle contract administration, tender preparation, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or tertiary education and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Immediate availability is preferred, and training will be provided for candidates without experience. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow in the field of quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Quantity Surveying and reviewing of Contract Administration.
• Request/sources for quotations from sub-contractors/suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
• Handle and close tender for submission.
• Monitor, prepare and submit progress claims and variation orders.
• Review construction subcontracts between company and subcontractors.
• Verify As-Built Drawings against actual completed work.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Quantity Surveying and reviewing of Contract Administration.
• Request / sources for quotations from sub-contractors / suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
• Handle and closing of tender for submission.
• Monitor, Prepare and submit progress claim and variation orders.
• Review construction subcontracts between company and subcontractors including general and special terms and conditions, requisitions, specifications and drawing, procedures.
• Verifies As-Built Drawings against actual completed work before submission to the Client.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma or Tertiary education
• At least 3 year working experience in the related field
