Job description

• Preparing and analyzing detailed estimates, bills of quantities for metal and structural steel works, and cost reports for construction projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Monitoring project costs and budgets, identifying potential savings and efficiencies
• Providing valuable input and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver successful, profitable construction projects

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry with metal and structural steel works knowledge.
• With Autocad knowledge.
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, cost management, and contract administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proficient in using relevant software and technologies for cost estimation and project management
