Job summary

A reputable service provider in Singapore is looking for a Quality Manager to lead their QA Department and ensure compliance with ISO standards. The successful candidate will have at least 6 years’ experience in Quality Management and 3 years in a managerial role. Responsibilities include developing quality assurance programs, managing audits, and overseeing subcontractors. The role requires a diploma in Mechanical or Quality Engineering and strong knowledge of process improvement. Competitive salary of $4900-$6000 offered.

Qualifications

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance programs and strategies.
  • Manage customer complaints, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper calibration of test and measuring equipment.
  • Oversee subcontractors to meet technical and delivery requirements.
  • Report QA system performance to management and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm, Sat 8am-12pm (Alt)

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the QA Department to achieve company quality objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance programs and strategies.
  • Manage customer complaints, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper calibration of test and measuring equipment.
  • Oversee subcontractors to meet technical and delivery requirements.
  • Review and implement QA plans, inspection/test procedures, and risk controls.
  • Coordinate inter-department efforts to meet schedules and quality goals.
  • Approve nonconformance dispositions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Report QA system performance to management and ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Quality Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Quality Management, including 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, audits, and process improvement.
  • Able to travel between Tuas and Loyang plants.
