Job description

If you are looking for aQuality Inspector role, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in ourSingapore location, this role will handle inspections and testing of receivedparts.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform inspection on physical, mechanical and/or electrical properties of received parts or sub-assemblies according to the defined criteria and collection plan.
  • Monitor and report the results of the inspections and testing.
  • Assist in the reporting and monitoring on non-conforming material.
  • Manage and maintain all quality documents and records.
  • Assist in the construction and/or revision inspection procedures, work instructions and checklists.
  • Monitor and coordinate calibration of all measuring equipment, fixtures and critical operation equipment and instrumentation.
  • Assist in other tasks as assigned by the superior.
  • Ensures all activities are carried out safely complying with Environment Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
  • Proficient in regular measurement instruments.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Demonstrate knowledge in material certification, sampling plan, non-conformance handling process.
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
