Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards on site. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing non-conformance issues, coordinating with consultants, and preparing quality documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in QA/QC Engineering or a related field, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the local construction industry. Certification in BCA CONQUAS/Quality Mark is preferred, and proficiency in construction management software is essential.

Job description

• Ensure strict compliance with various contractual QA/QC requirement conforming toproject requirement.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure product quality meets design parameters and technical requirements while also adhering to BCA's Good Industry Practice guidelines.
• Supervise and manage all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those carried out by third-party subcontractors.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when activities deviate from approved drawings and contract specifications. Monitor corrective actions and process improvement, as well as ensuring proper defect rectification of subcontractor workers across all trades.
• Coordinate with Qualified Persons (QPs) and consultants & RE to resolve and close Non-Conformance notices. Monitoring & report to project leading team until NCR close.
• Prepare and submit & monitoring Method Statements, Quality Records, Test Activities, Material Submissions, and Concrete Design Mixes for consultant approval.
• Update and submit monthly progress reports related to quality matters to authorities, Especially forCONQUAS/QM requirement.
• Oversee corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
• Support external and internal quality audits on-site

Job Requirements:
