Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. The role involves inspection, documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities within a mechanical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Review and approve inspection reports, route cards, and quality records
- Handle non-conformance (NCR), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Perform root cause analysis and support improvement initiatives
- Support customer audits, internal audits, and supplier audits
- Liaise with production, engineering, and suppliers on quality issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO / customer quality standards and drawings
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and inspection tools (e.g. vernier, micrometer, CMM is an advantage)
- Familiar with quality systems such as ISO 9001 / AS9100 (advantage)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Advantage)
- Experience in aerospace / precision engineering environment
- Knowledge of NDT, FAI, PPAP, or customer‑specific requirements
- Audit experience (internal or external)
