Job description

• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and look into their training and guidance
• Supervise QS on project progress claims, subcontractor claims, EOTs and Variation Claims
• Liaise with departments, clients and authorities on submission, audits and compliances matters
• Deal with subcontractor for proper contract management, resolve disputes
• Support PM in contract administration and cost control
• Prepare monthly progress reports on claims and pricings

Requirements

• Degree in QS or equivalent
• Min 10 years’ relevant experience, out of which 2 years in Management level, in construction project value of at least $300 million and above
• Experience with international construction projects in the Nearshore Marine Development, Land Reclamation sectors will be preferred
• Good knowledge of tendering, project cost control, monthly reporting, earned value analysis, estimation and cost analysis
• Demonstrated good leadership qualities and people management capabilities
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Candidate must be willing to work in Changi location
