Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage contractual issues across ongoing projects. Responsibilities include preparing tender documents, conducting cost analysis, and overseeing contract negotiations with subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction field. Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a Construction company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the contractual issues of all the ongoing projects.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities material quantity and take off.
  • Conduct comparison, conduct cost analysis, negotiation, and awarding of contracts to sub-contractors.
  • Prepare final accounts, variation submission and monthly progress claim.
  • Coordinate on Sub-contract Invoice Certification and Payment Certification.
  • Manage document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and relevant documents.
  • Evaluate the list of bidders for projects.
  • Review any contractual dispute and recommend resolutions.
  • Review all internal contractual documents before issuance.

  • Evaluate the list of bidders for projects.
  • Ensure indemnity / warranty and other contractual obligations.
  • Review any contractual dispute between company with subcontractors, vendors, and staff, and recommend actions to be taken to resolve such matters.
  • Review all internal contractual documents before they are issued to third party.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a Construction company.
