Job description
JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of cement and concrete products in compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality inspections, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures for cement / ready‑mixed concrete / building materials
  • Conduct raw material, in‑process, and finished product testing in accordance with relevant standards
  • Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality specifications and SOPs
  • Investigate quality non‑conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate QC records, reports, and documentation
  • Liaise with production, operations, and technical teams to resolve quality issues
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, customer audits)
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental requirements
Requirements
Education
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Concrete Technology or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance
  • Experience in cement, ready‑mixed concrete (RMC), precast, or building materials manufacturing is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with batching plants and laboratory testing will be an advantage
Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of concrete / cement testing methods and quality standards
  • Understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 preferred)
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and test results
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and basic data analysis
Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work on‑site and support operational requirements
