Job Summary
Participate in the engineering, procurement and manufacturing process of pipeline, such as line pipe, subsea forging etc., from RFQ to shipment, control and manage vendor quality issues (TBE, PO, KOM, PIM, Manufacturing, In-progress Inspection, Pressure Test, FAT, Final Inspection, etc.). The valve material will cs, SS, DSS, SDSS, Inconel 625, Nickel-aluminum bronze, Titanium etc.
Principal Responsibilities
- To become familiar with the company's requirements
- Support the procurement department and participate in various meetings with the Vendor/Company to ensure the product packages are meet and compliance with the project specifications / Standard and Code requirements.
- Attend KOM / Organize of PIM and prepare the quality section of the KOM slide.
- Review and comment on vendor documents (ITP, MPS, FAT procedure, report, etc.)
- Organize the vendor weekly meeting and communicate to COMPANY regarding the vendor’s progress updates controversial comments or feedback, raise a clarification meeting if necessary.
- Make every effort to ensure PIM is held as scheduled.
- Proactive and liaise with TPC coordinator and update the vendor package progress status information to Engineering/Procurement and Client
- Verify NOI readiness and forward to TPC coordinator for vendor inspection
- Review and comment TPC inspection report
- Manage the NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite the vendor's resolution proposal / RCA (If necessary) within 3 working days of receiving NCR by vendor.
- Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Shall have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
- Shall have three min five years and above (5) experience directly relating to the Quality Assurance procurement execution and vendor inspection activities.
- Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system requirements and implementation.
- Shall demonstrate working knowledge of codes required by the purchase order, such as API 5L, DNV-ST-F101, ASME B16.5, MSS SP-44, NORSOK L-005 etc.
- Available of certification of CSWIP3.1 or AWS-CWI or IWE and NDT qualification will be added value
