Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies
• Review and approve inspection reports, route cards, and quality records
• Handle non-conformance (NCR), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Perform root cause analysis and support improvement initiatives
• Support customer audits, internal audits, and supplier audits
• Liaise with production, engineering, and suppliers on quality issues
• Ensure compliance with ISO / customer quality standards and drawings

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD/T, and inspection tools (e.g. vernier, micrometer, CMM is an advantage)
• Familiar with quality systems such as ISO 9001 / AS9100 (advantage)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of NDT, FAI, PPAP, or customer-specific requirements
• Audit experience (internal or external)
