Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for overseeing QA and QC activities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities of the Company
  • Oversee all equipment buy-off requirements, including Internal Buy-Off (IBO) and Customer Buy-Off (CBO)
  • Manage internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to ensure timely response and closure
  • Review, maintain, and update QA processes, systems, and operational workflows
  • Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance beyond basic compliance to standards
  • Monitor and drive quality performance across the supply chain
  • Plan and conduct supplier quality audits, including qualification and re-certification of Zi and existing vendors
  • Support the Company’s supply chain development through effective quality management
  • Prepare and compile weekly and monthly QA reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics Engineering,
  • At least 3 years related QA working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of metrology requirements with teaching skills (using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height & Depth Gauge, Profile Projector, Gauge Block and Smart Scope, etc)
  • Strong problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D discipline, FMEA, QC Tools on Analysis of datas, etc)
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Have a penchant for details and strict with documentation and specification compliance
  • Independent and initiative to develop and drive quality improvement programs
  • Ability to work as a good team player
