Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Type: Contract / Permanent
Experience: 5–8 years (flexible)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Selenium and good exposure to test automation frameworks. Experience with Appium (mobile automation) and banking domain knowledge is highly preferred. Familiarity with Temenos T24 is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of implementing robust automation solutions across web and/or mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python preferred).
• Execute automated regression, functional, smoke, and integration test suites.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Maven, CI/CD integration).
• Perform manual testing where required and contribute to test planning, test case design, and test data preparation.
• Ensure high test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test scripts.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and defect triage discussions.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.
• Support mobile testing using Appium (good to have).
• Apple domain expertise in banking processes, payments, core banking, or channels.
• Temenos T24 testing exposure is a plus—AA, COB, FT, Interfaces, etc.

Must‑Have Skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Selenium automation.
• Strong programming experience in Java (or Python).
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins (or any CI/CD tool).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good knowledge of banking processes, financial products, and transaction flows.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
• Knowledge of Temenos T24 modules or testing integration with core banking systems.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
• Experience with performance testing tools (optional).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (ISTQB, Automation Testing, Selenium, etc.) are an advantage.
