Job summary

A leading food safety company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to conduct hygiene checks and support compliance with food safety standards. The successful candidate will maintain documentation, perform quality checks, and assist in audits. Ideal applicants should possess relevant education and are able to work efficiently under pressure. This position offers standard working hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level / Nitec / Diploma in Quality Assurance or related fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in food manufacturing or related industries is an advantage.

Job Description

• Conduct daily on-site hygiene checks to ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain and upkeep food safety management system ISO22000 documents and process control.
• Assist in the maintaining relevant halal certification documentation.
• Perform regular sampling and quality checks of incoming, in-process, and outgoing products to ensure compliance with prescribed specifications and quality standards.
• Support internal, external and regulatory audits.
• Assist in investigation customer feedback and product non-conformities.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve quality issues and determine disposition.
• Ensure adherence to all SOPs across operations.
• Monitor sanitation practices and pest control systems are in place.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on QA related matters.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors or deem fit by management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level / Nitec / Diploma in Quality Assurance or related fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge and experience in food manufacturing or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Good initiative and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
