Job Description

As a Car Purchaser, your role is critical to the success and function of our transaction business. You will be responsible for coordinating, spotting and purchasing vehicles for us. You will be customer and business centric, possess excellent negotiation skills, and ensure costing is within reasonable boundaries, while upholding the quality of the vehicles you purchase.

• Accurately inspect, assess and ensure the quality of vehicles prior to purchase when seller accepted the quotes
• Attend to car viewings with multiple clients in a timely manner and managing the schedules closely with the telesales team
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service standards; Clearly convey company terms and conditions to clients and ensure the transaction is managed and completed in a timely manner
• Review and provide car quotes accurately and timely to all enquiries made via our CRM
• Adapt cost-efficient, prompt corrective actions when defective vehicles are purchased
• Schedule with clients and manage the collection of vehicles with the Sales Operations team internally to ensure a smooth and hassle free experience for our sellers
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that support the Business Development functions of OneShift by Carousell

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in car purchasing functions/operations, sales operations and/or related functions
• Experienced in the automotive industry in buying and selling of pre-owned vehicles is preferred
• Have an eye for detail and is organized
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and highly digitized environment
• Possess a Class 3 driving license and owns a transport is necessary

Good to have

• Prior experience in the Autos industry related to transactional services will be highly considered.
• Analytical and the ability to understand business metrics, processes and support tools.
• Proficiencies in the use of CRM applications and Google suites will be an added advantage.
