Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement of materials and negotiation with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of procurement experience with LTA projects. Job Description
  • Manage procurement of materials, rental of heavy equipment and negotiation with suppliers
  • Manage cost estimates, tender, contracts and price finalizing
  • Source required materials and suppliers through various channels and conduct price analysis
  • Manage the delivery process and inspect the quality and quantity of procured materials in a timely manner
  • Preparation of progress report to stakeholders
  • Project administration duties
Requirements
  • Min Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or relevant field
  • Possesses 8 years of procurement experience with LTA projects
  • Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
  • Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team
