Job summary

A leading food services company in Singapore is seeking a motivated purchasing officer to join their team. This role involves liaising with suppliers, assisting in sourcing, negotiating delivery schedules, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will have a GCE ‘O’ Level, bilingual skills in English and Mandarin, and must be a good team player with strong coordination skills.

Job description

Responsibilities:

- Liaise and follow up with suppliers/forwarders for on-time delivery

- Assist with sourcing and selecting suppliers at the best costs, qualities, and services

- Assist with negotiation and planning of delivery schedule in all purchasing matters

- Caculate food cost

- Purchase office supplies

- Data Entry, Filing and manager inventory level.

- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

- 5 days week (Mon to Fri / 9am to 6pm)
- Bilingual in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking managers)
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
- Min/preferred years of working experience: 1 year
- Willing to learn and able to work in fast

- Outgoing personality, Strong in coordination pace environment
- Independent and able to multi-task
- Good Team Player
