Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Public Relations Officer to manage communications with clients and stakeholders. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the construction sector. Responsibilities include resolving conflicts, planning PR programs, and maintaining positive relationships. Responsibilities
  • Handles and resolves conflicts, enquiries, feedback and complaints from client, consultants, building management, public, CAG, NEA and various stakeholders through e-mails and phone calls pertaining to the project.
  • Maintains good support and positive relations among organisations, stakeholders and the public.
  • Planning and launching of public relations programme
  • Responsible for the production of all communication materials related to the public relations effort
  • Maintains proper record of all public relation cases, correspondences and communication materials.
  • Supports and handles administrative works.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CAG.
  • Other ad hoc duties as per assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of PRO working experience (LTA)
  • Diploma in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent client facing with strong people orientation ability to build and develop positive relations with the Authority (LTA, CAG, PUB, NEA and stakeholders).
  • Proven experience in public relations, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiar with LTA processes
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours during events.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
