Job Overview

Preparation of proposals and cost estimations for tender projects, with emphasis on accurate quantity take-offs, cost calculations, and coordination with the Proposal / Sales Manager during contract acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and cost estimations for tender projects.
• Estimate project quantities and costs efficiently for major tenders, including: take-off of HVAC equipment, preparation of IO summary, DDC controller sizing, field device selection, BOQ preparation, costing, and valve selection.
• Assist the Proposal / Sales Manager on technical and costing matters during contract acquisition.
• Plan, coordinate, and consolidate all estimating activities to meet tender deadlines.
• Interpret and review engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and scope of works.
• Follow internal Tendering / Proposal policies and procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work processes.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) / BMS (Building Management Systems).
• Good understanding of engineering specifications and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical capability and keen attention to detail in calculations, checks, and summarising data.
