Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified project manager who has good experience with maintaining customer communications and works closely with internal stakeholders, especially in the genomics field, to facilitate a positive customer experience. The role demands a person with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to multi‑task while working under pressure.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for external and internal stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication throughout all phases of the project
  • Facilitate regular meetings, progress updates and reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables and expectations
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation including entries in the online customer portal, to ensure project details are clearly and consistently recorded
  • Manage project tracking and monitor progress closely with the aim of project delivery within the expected TAT, and communicate with customers for data delivery to ensure project closing is fulfilled timely
  • Perform any other reasonable duties or ad‑hoc assignments as directed by line manager/ supervisor
  • In the discharge of your duties, you shall observe and comply with all regulations and directions from time to time made by the Company or given to you and use your best skills and endeavors to further the business and interests of the company
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical engineering (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar discipline)
  • Technical understanding of next generation sequencing is preferred
  • More than 1 year of proven hands‑on experience in project management in the genomics, molecular biology, or molecular genetics arenas
  • Prior technical support and next generation sequencing experience is a bonus
  • Strong proficiency in written and oral English
  • Possesses logical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with varied personalities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi‑task, and work under pressure highly desired
  • Highly motivated and adaptable to ever‑changing client needs and expectations
  • Self‑starter and strong team player that takes the initiative and develops ideas with the team
