ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. Today with our expertise and comprehensive suite of satellite engineering and test facility, SatSys design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) camera, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and more, to meet the mission objectives of our customers.

As a Project Manager, you will work with the Project Director to deliver projects, work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to establish project plans, risk management plans, project milestones and deliverables. You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and partners to facilitate successful negotiation at work. The role requires flexibility and adaptability, and the employee of the company need to be aware that they may be asked to perform tasks and be given responsibilities not detailed on this job description.

• Manage the implementation of the project, ensuring smooth and successful delivery.
• Responsible for the scope, time, cost and quality management of the project, as well as close management and monitoring throughout the progress of the project.
• Managing potential project risks to avoid delays or reputational damage e.g. compliance to End-User Certificate/Statement (EUC/EUS) and Export Control (EC).
• Manage the initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of the entire project.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Communications, Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years’ experience in project management or certification such as PMP equivalent would be advantage.
• System-minded, meticulous and proactive personality with ability to understand and predict complex system behavior.
• Strong analytical, communication and writing skills.
• Independent team player, motivated with strong interpersonal skills to work with interdisciplinary team.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Willing to learn new things, especially in satellite technology.
