Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee MEP and civil works within Integrated Facilities Management contracts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a recognized engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills. The role includes budget preparation, compliance assurance, and attending meetings with clients. Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, building infrastructure, and maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams of Technical Officers and Managers to oversee project works involving MEP, building, structural, civil works in an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Contract and ensure that KPIs are met.
  • Responsible for preliminary survey, feasibility studies and working with consultants, vendors, users to determine requirements, preparing cost estimates to derive project budgets for various multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ensure that project technical specifications, regulatory compliances, code of practises, schedule of work and all necessary documentations are obtained, and project milestones are met.
  • Responsible for developing detailed project plans, budgets, schedule, ensure that project technical specifications, regulatory compliances, code of practises, all necessary documentations are obtained, project milestones are met and ensuring high quality workmanship are delivered.
  • Attend regular maintenance meetings on behalf of the Company with Clients and Clients’ Representatives.
  • Periodic review for on-going project to identify risks, verifying stages of work, present reports, post-project evaluation and finalize completion of works.
Job Requirement
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in Project Management works involving engineering / A&A projects.
  • Recognized Degree in Building/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, building infrastructure, and maintenance best practices and ability to read / interpret technical drawings, schematics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge in BIM, AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP advantageous
