Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer for LNG and oil/gas projects. The role requires at least 15 years of relevant experience, with responsibilities including leading project activities, managing engineering progress, and overseeing issue resolution. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have prior experience in Singapore. The competitive salary ranges from $7,000 to $8,000, negotiable based on qualifications.

Job description

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects, particularly in the South East Asia
• Be the System Owner of the subsystems and responsible for issue resolution from the beginning of the project including detail engineering phase, until completion and handover
• Assists the Project Manager and Engineering Manager in providing leadership for, and managing the team’s performance of project activities
• Interact and update the Company with the upcoming activities including engineering progress, issue resolution status and mechanical completion verification, pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule, RFSU verification, PSSR completion start up and performance testing and system handover.
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience

Location : Ubi/ Jurong Port

Salary: $7,000 to $8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
