Job summary
A marine project management firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in managing project timelines and delivering contractual commitments. Candidates should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the marine industry. Proficiency in English and experience with MS Office and AutoCAD are preferred. The role involves coordinating internal and external stakeholders and managing vendor deliverables.

Job Scope
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and monitoring the project progress to meet contractual requirements and timely delivery of committed work-scope within agreed schedule
- Coordinate effort from internal stakeholders and ensure effective delivery of contractual commitments
- Attend to daily tasks relating to project work of:
- Conduct meetings with clients, external consultants, internal stakeholders from various disciplines, record meeting minutes.
- Prompt submission of documents (Engineering Design, Project Execution Plan, Schedule Progress Reports, Work Procedures, Derived Results, etc.…) to clients and coordinate with internal stakeholders to address findings from these submittals.
- Manage vendors, suppliers and project partners to ensure smooth deliverables for the projects
- Identify and alert higher management of potential risk exposure
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have at least 2 years of working experience in the marine industry
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Marine and Offshore Industry.
- Computer proficiency in MS- Office Suites – Project / Excel / MS Word, Power Point / Adobe Acrobat & AutoCad an added advantage.
- Experience in supervisory and management or projects, people, work processes.
