Job description

Due to our project expansion, we are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a background in civil engineering, specifically experienced in Road Infrastructure Works, to oversee and manage various phases of road construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify work meets project requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting communication and problem-solving.
  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and resources.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore, or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control Proven experience in managing road infrastructure projects, ideally within LTA or similar agencies.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prefer experience with large-scale infrastructure projects involving roads, highways, or transportation.

The remuneration package shall be commensurate with relevant project experiences, proven track records and professional skills.
