Job summary

A leading construction corporation in Singapore is seeking a Discipline Package Owner to assist in project planning and scheduling, ensure engineering compliance, and coordinate site activities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of construction experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with major construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in construction industry.
  • Experience in underpinning works and conservation building works considered an advantage.
  • Possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.

  • Assist in project planning and scheduling.

Job Description
  • Discipline package owner, assist in project planning and scheduling.
  • Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance to project requirements.
  • Liaise with consultant for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
  • Assist construction manager & quantity surveyor in project progress claim.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultant and suppliers and other project stakeholder.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Submit shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification and requirement.
  • Monitor Health and Safety on projects to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations.
  • Check site progress and productivity, record and submit progress claims for certification and payment.
  • Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
  • Min 5 years working experience in construction industry with major A/A works and ERSS/piling works.
  • Experience in underpinning works and conservation building works will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Autocad, Common Data Environtment.
  • Experience in working and coordination between design and construction teams.
