Job description

The incumbent will report to the Project Sales Director and manage all phases of project activities, including planning, implementation, execution, and completion of gas and chemical supply equipment, installation, and certification. They will interface directly with the Project Manager or FAETH associated companies.

JOB DUTIES

  • Manage, lead, and control multiple projects.
  • Interface with customers and subcontractors regarding project contracts and schedules, including organizing technical presentations, contract reviews, design reviews, and providing project progress reports for management or customer review.
  • Coordinate with Faeth associated companies to manage resources and obtain necessary engineering, design, or process information for manufacturing, installation, and system qualification.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, budgets, schedules, and track deliverables to meet project targets.
  • Manage suppliers and subcontractors for system or equipment installation.
  • Source components, parts, and suppliers according to specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate testing, operation, and commissioning activities with onsite subcontractors, the Faeth team, and the customer.
  • Observe quality management, project quality plan, and safety management system requirements throughout the project.
  • Implement best practices at project sites and participate in team discussions for effective resource management.
  • Prepare and manage safety documentation, including work method statements, risk assessments, and permits.
  • Maintain service reports and permits related to equipment.
  • Ensure equipment operates according to contractual specifications and adhere to project schedules.
  • Manage project documentation for final acceptance and certification of systems and equipment.
  • Address and resolve design or start-up issues promptly, keeping the Project Manager informed with action plans and timelines.
  • Perform maintenance, calibration, sampling, troubleshooting, and repair tasks as per SOPs and WI.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, attend to breakdowns, and troubleshoot Faeth products at customer sites locally and overseas.
  • Provide training to customers on equipment operation, installation, and maintenance.
  • Gather customer feedback for product improvement and report to the Product Design Team.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to evaluate results and suggest improvements.
