Job summary

A leading rainwater management company in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers in site execution and coordination of rainwater system installations. Responsibilities include assisting with project planning, manpower allocation, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring safety compliance on-site. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field and possesses strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Possess a Diploma / Degree or equivalent Technical certificate.
  • Preferably 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with project coordination and execution.
  • Assist in programming and allocation of manpower.
  • Discuss inspection reports and implement necessary actions.
  • Maintain records of inspections and non-conformances.
  • Assist in submission of shop drawings and material samples.
  • Plan materials and equipment needed for the project.
  • Monitor Health and Safety compliance on-site.
  • Check site progress and submit monthly progress claims.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Project Engineer is to support the Project Managers (PM) in the performance of their duties and coordination, site execution of rainwater system installations, testing and commissioning, to the successful handing over of project to clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To assist the PM on multiple projects to programme and allocate manpower as required.
  • Discuss inspection reports with the PM and ensure clear and accurate implementation of necessary actions and recommendations.
  • Maintain records of inspections, actions and non-conformances.
  • Assist in submission of shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification
  • Assist PM in the planning of required, materials, plant, transport and equipment.
  • Plan activities of allocated Site Supervisors and workforce under their control, in line with project requirements.
  • Monitor Health and Safety on projects to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations
  • Ensure that projects are carried out within the labour and material budget parameters provided as advised by PM
  • Check site progress and productivity, record and submit monthly progress claims for certification and payment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • The successful candidate should possess a Diploma / Degree, or equivalent Technical certificate in Architecture / Mechanical / Civil or Building.
  • Preferably 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
  • A good communicator.
