Job summary
A geotechnical engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Project Assistant to support project management activities in bored piling. The role involves preparing designs, liaising with contractors, and ensuring timely project delivery. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in bored piling works and preferable Class 3 driving license.

- Assist Project Manager in geotechnical engineering projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design and day to day running of geotechnical engineering projects
- Preparation of design calculations and technical drawings for the projects
- Determine operation requirements and to assist Project Manager in preparing schedule
- Liaise with sub-contractor and consultants for the execution of works
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance to schedule
- Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently
- Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager relating to project execution
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent recognised by PE Board of Singapore preferred
- Minimum 2 years of handling bored piling works experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and have a passion in foundation/geotechnical engineering works
- Candidate who possesses Class 3 driving license preferred as the role requires driving to go to different sites for inspections and meetings
