Job description

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the company in overseeing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget execution and effective stakeholder coordination. The role includes managing system integration projects, controlling project plans, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC and safety standards. The engineer supports technical teams, manages client expectations, conducts product training, and coordinates testing activities while adhering to company SOPs and HSE requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the on-time and within budget delivery of the projects assigned and monitor each project’s schedule to coordinate and communicate with the various stakeholders the project progress (e.g. budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance, quality control).
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, scheduling changes and recommending actions.
• Implement and ensure proper project management disciplines, structure, and processes to drive scope estimation, prioritization and delivery of the project.
• Manage client expectations and ensure proper scope management by coordinating activities and resolving problems.
• In-charge of managing and handling the implementation of successful system integration projects.
• Communicate product development and technical activities to sales team and customers.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Liaise and coordinate with the technical team, subcontractors, and customers with regards to the implementation of the project and conduct product training.
• Prepare quotation, user acceptance test and all other project documentation for required projects.
• Coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing and reporting.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Perform ad hoc tasks not limited to the list of responsibilities mentioned above.
• To follow all company business operation and SOP at all times.
• Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company’s KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping at all times

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, system integration, or engineering project management. Candidates with longer experience will be considered for Senior Project Engineer role.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery (planning, scheduling, budgeting, communication).
• Hands-on experience in system integration and technical implementation is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of system integration testing, UAT, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing coordination.
• Proficient in preparing project documentation (quotations, UAT scripts, reports, implementation plans).
• Familiar with QA/QC standards, compliance requirements, and relevant industry codes.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible, independent, and safety-conscious, with commitment to SOPs, HSE programs, and good housekeeping.
