Job summary

A construction management company in Singapore is looking for a project coordinator to assist in project planning and oversee construction works. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Engineering and at least 1-3 years of M&E construction project management experience. Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD is required. The role involves risk assessment, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and effective liaison with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of M&E Construction project management experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
  • Proficient in operating MS Project.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in project planning and oversee all works on site.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in project planning and to co-ordinate and oversee all works on the site
  • Monitor & co-ordinate the works with supervisors
  • Handling of technical and engineering problems
  • Assist in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress
  • Liaison with client's representative, relevant authorities and consultants
  • Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimise environmental impact associated with the construction activities
  • Take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace
  • Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering
  • At least 1-3 years of M&E Construction project management experience (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Able to operate MS Project
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities
  • Wide knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
