Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer to supervise construction activities. The role involves preparing schedules, attending meetings, ensuring quality control, and supervising safety at the construction site. Candidates must have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in building and civil works. Knowledge of AutoCad and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • To supervise and schedule work requirements
  • To prepare all program, work schedule and quantities for the project
  • To attend all client meetings, executive meetings in order to coordinate construction activities
  • To supervise safety quality control inspections of sub-contractor’s services
  • To ensure quantity and quality of purchase and inspection of materials received
  • To follow strictly safety regulations at construction site
  • To prepare method of statements and risk assessment for all activities
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent from recognized institutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience (building and civil works) in Singapore
  • Knowledge in AutoCad and Microsoft Office
  • Able to read and analyze structural/architectural drawings
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment and provide administrative support
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staff
