JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To assist the Managing Director in overseeing the technical aspects of the construction process.
2. To ensure that all projects meet contractual requirements, company’s quality requirement and within budget.
3. To select and appoint staff for projects.
4. To deal with all industrial relations arising from the engineering activities of project.
5. To ensure that all statutory and legal requirements are complied.
6. To deal with technical, operational, safety and quality issues.
7. To assign construction tasks to staff.
8. To ensure an efficient and effective utilization of equipment, plant and machinery.
9. To review and implement improved construction methods and improved technology in construction.
10. To synergy the activities of all Departments and the Company to increase its productivity and efficiency.
11. To lead & manage the tender process, from preparation through submission, ensuring alignment and efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering). Those majoring in Hydro‑Power Engineering will have an added advantage.
2. Preferably minimum 10 years of experience in managing large, fast‑track, diverse building projects with at least 5 years of project management working experience at a managerial level.
3. Dynamic and motivated personality with good communicative and interpersonal skills
4. Good leadership to lead a team of project staff.
5. Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
6. Possess Construction Safety Course for Project Manager Certificate.
7. Able to communicate in both oral and written Chinese language to handle queries and feedback to associates, clients and customers.
