Job summary

A global leader in technical restoration in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager. In this role, you will lead projects from initial quotations through completion, managing client communications and ensuring technical solutions are delivered effectively. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Engineering and 5 to 12 years of experience in relevant fields. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, facility management, equipment maintenance, or technical restoration services.
• Experience working within semiconductor environments, cleanrooms, or contamination control projects is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and managing project P&L.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incident sites to assess damage and develop recovery plans.
• Lead projects from quotation phase through to completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage contract negotiations.

Company Overview

Our client is a global leader in disaster recovery and technical restoration services. They specialize in mitigating the impact of incidents such as fire, water damage, and equipment contamination for industrial and commercial clients. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Damage Assessment & Solution Design: Respond to incident sites to assess damage to buildings, industrial machinery, and electronic equipment. Develop comprehensive technical recovery plans and submit quotations for reinstatement.
• Project Management: Lead projects from the initial quotation phase through to completion. Take full accountability for project scope, schedule, cost management, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Commercial Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance adjusters, and brokers. Manage contract negotiations, prepare proposals, and drive business conversion by effectively presenting technical solutions.
• Operational Leadership: Supervise technicians and subcontractors on-site to ensure safety compliance and high service standards. Ensure all documentation, reporting, and invoicing are completed on time.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain continuous communication with all parties involved to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth project delivery. Mentor and guide junior project team members.

Key Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, facility management, equipment maintenance, or technical restoration services.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience working within semiconductor environments, cleanrooms, or contamination control projects is highly desirable.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and managing project P&L. Prior exposure to technical sales or commercial negotiation is essential.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of industrial plant/equipment maintenance combined with excellent project management capabilities.
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Must be composed under pressure and results oriented.
