Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Training Manager to lead, manage, market, and grow our external training programmes with a strong focus on business development and achieving revenue/sales targets.This role involves end-to-end programme management, programme sales & promotion, marketing, and client engagement. This is not an internal HRstaff training role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and coordinate external public and corporate training programmes.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, success, and ROI; report findings periodically.
  • Manage training budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Stay updated on training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media, and promotional activities.
  • Manage programmes pre-training, onsite, and post-training, including participant feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Drive business development, programme sales, and revenuegrowth for the training function, including developing new workshops or modules.
  • Maintain and expand participant and corporate client databases.
  • Ensure programmes are compliant with WSQ/SSG requirements.
  • Perform general administrative duties and maintain accurate training records.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a training manager or similar role.
  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful training programmes.
  • Holds at least one of the following certifications: ACTA, ACLP, or DACE.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.
  • Competent in writing reports, developing training manuals, and using computer/ database systems.
