Job Purpose
- To manage all operational, logistical, and building maintenance matters of the Red Cross Campsite, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal usage.
- To plan and conduct Humanitarian Trail for OBS and Learning Journeys schools, educating the youth on Red Cross’ mission.
- To lead, coordinate, and deliver Special Projects and collaborations under the Youth Development Division, from ideation to completion (e.g., Learning Journeys, hosting of IFRC delegates, running of new projects/initiatives).
Key Responsibilities
Programme & Project Management
- Lead and manage projects under the Special Projects portfolio, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.
- Act as the Point of Contact (POC) for all collaborations and partnerships under Special Projects.
- Plan and execute Learning Journeys and Humanitarian Trails for MOE schools, OBS, and external parties.
- Curate and develop new materials for Learning Journeys and educational experiences.
- Oversee the upkeep and readiness of Humanitarian Trail items and coordinate the weekly OBS Humanitarian Trail schedule.
- Ensure adherence to organisational administrative and financial procedures, including use of RCY Approval Management System and Tenderboard Procurement systems.
Campsite Operations
- Oversee campsite booking allocations, prioritising UG activities and RCY programmes in accordance with MOE agreements.
- Verify booking accuracy and ensure correct month‑end budget code charging to departments and OBS.
- Report facility issues to the Facilities Manager (FM) and follow up on rectification works.
- Manage campsite budget prudently, ensuring spending aligns with financial policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of campsite facilities.
- Work with FM to identify areas for improvement and support efforts to obtain and maintain the Fire Safety Certificate.
Logistics & Resource Management
- Oversee Campsite Logistics Room and ensure efficient use of assets.
- Manage and monitor the allocation of First Aid (FA) items for all divisions and activities.
- Ensure timely restocking of FA items and HIOH T‑shirts while maintaining inventory records.
- Support RCY divisions in planning and executing events, ensuring fair and efficient allocation of logistics, collaterals, and training materials.
- Coordinate with Logistics Coordinators (Volunteers) to ensure smooth operational support.
Event & Programme Support
- Support and coordinate key corporate and SRC/RCY events, such as the Open Houses, Volunteer Induction Sessions, Humanitarian Conference, Road Shows and other major programmes.
- Assist divisions with operational planning to minimise event conflicts and logistical disruptions.
- Represent YD/RCY at partner events and ensure quality delivery of collaborative programmes.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate volunteer, event, and project records in the SRC Volunteer Portal, ensuring compliance with Data Protection and Privacy policies.
- Track financial projections, project budgets, and campsite expenses.
- Prepare clear, timely reports and updates for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Undertake other duties and assignments as directed by the HOD.

Job Arrangements
Working Hours: 9.00am to 6.00pm (Monday – Friday)
Alternate Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm may be adopted

Job Specifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Event Management, Operations Management, Outdoor
- Education or Digital Marketing would be an added advantage
- Class 3 Driving License would be an added advantage
- Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar or related role or sector
- Experience in people management and/or organising events relating to youth‑led initiatives would be an added advantage
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in English and mother tongue
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
- Able to handle multiple projects with different timelines
- Able to prioritise and organise work activity in order to complete assignments
- Familiar with video editing and design software is an added advantage
- Familiar with current trend and usage of social media platform is an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
