Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Performance Platform Integration (40%)
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the SPM Business Analyst (metrics, KPIs, scorecards) and the digital platform/system teams implementing the external supplier performance solution.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for system configuration, workflow design, data structures, and reporting/dashboard needs.
  • Coordinate UAT cycles, data validation, defect resolution, and enhancement requests to ensure platform accuracy, consistency, and adoption.
  • Partner with IT Procurement and platform providers to define the roadmap, review sprints, and support continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain governance for metric definitions, data quality, version control, and platform operating processes.
2. Supplier Relationship Management Program Ownership (40%)

Design and operationalize Micron’s global SRM framework:

  • Benchmark leading SRM practices, maturity models, and engagement methodologies across relevant industries.
  • Design a standardized SRM program for Micron’s Strategic Suppliers, including segmentation, engagement models, relationship indicators, review cadences, and partnership frameworks.
  • Develop relationship health metrics and supplier feedback mechanisms that complement quantitative SPM KPIs.
  • Create SRM tools, templates, playbooks, and guidance to ensure global consistency and adoption.
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing, Category Managers, Business Units, and Sites to implement SRM best practices and embed them into day-to‑day operations.
3. Supplier Performance Management & Governance Support (20%)
  • Support the SPM lead and Annual Supplier Evaluation (ASE) Committee.
  • Coordinate closely with ASE co‑chair to ensure alignment across SRM, SPM, and broader Supplier Ecosystem initiatives.
  • Provide performance insights and analysis for quarterly and annual supplier assessments.
  • Support preparation of supplier performance narratives, ASC materials, and executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure SPM outputs and SRM activities reinforce one another, creating a cohesive and comprehensive supplier engagement model.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier relationship management, supplier performance management, strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or related roles.
  • Expertise in supplier KPI frameworks, scorecards, segmentation, and governance models.
  • Experience partnering with IT or platform teams to deploy or enhance enterprise systems (e.g., SaaS, workflow, analytics tools).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and global initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, reporting, and visualization.
Preferred
  • Background in semiconductor, high‑tech manufacturing, life sciences, or similarly complex global supply chains.
  • Experience designing or operationalizing SRM frameworks or supplier engagement models.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, Ariba, Ivalua, or other procurement/performance systems.
  • Exposure to change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
