In this role, you will support the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Electrical Safety Program for the Data Centers and Technical Infrastructure assets. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing execution of the Global EHS Electrical Safety Program, ensuring conformance with Google Cloud’s EHS expectations and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, minimizing risk, and promoting a culture of EHS excellence. You will lead the implementation of the EHS electrical safety program across multiple operational facilities. You will be driving an electrical safety program within the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) environment, leading and implementing electrical safety programs and EHS initiatives across the APAC region, focusing on defining scope, securing resources, and overseeing timelines.

  • Identify, assess, and analyze electrical hazards and other EHS risks, develop and implement risk reduction strategies to minimize incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including engineering teams, operational teams, EHS teams and vendors to achieve electrical safety goals and facilitate the implementation of the EHS Management System (EHSMS).
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to applicable electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies across APAC.
