Job description

I. General Requirements

1. Educational Background

• Mid-Level Technical Roles: Bachelor's degree or above in stage technology, lighting design, acoustics, or related disciplines

2. Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; experience with theatres or large-scale productions (concerts, musical, exhibitions, etc.) is highly preferred

3. Core Competencies

• Language: Proficient in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

• Strong teamwork, stress-handling ability, and on-site problem-solving skills

• Strict adherence to industry safety and operational standards

4. Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission lighting schemes for performances and events
• Handle lighting system installation, circuit wiring, equipment setup, karaoke system support, and maintenance
• Produce lighting system drawings and layouts using professional design software
• Provide full technical support throughout rehearsals and live performances, resolving on-site technical issues promptly
• Set up and optimize sound reinforcement systems, ensuring high-quality audio performance throughout events
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and service audio equipment and karaoke systems
• Perform sound design, audio editing, and live mixing according to production requirements
• Manage equipment setup before shows, technical support during events, and teardown after performances

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient with GrandMA2, Hog 4, Pearl consoles, or equivalent lighting control systems

• Capable of independent programming, scene creation, and effects tuning

• Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools

• Solid understanding of stage lighting principles and fixture types (moving lights, PAR lights, follow spots, etc.)

• Strong system-level lighting design and optimization capability

• Proficient with DiGiCo, Yamaha CL series, Midas, or other professional digital mixing consoles

• Strong understanding of acoustics and sound system design

• Hands-on experience in system tuning, fault diagnosis, and performance optimization

• Familiar with audio equipment lifecycle management and emerging industry technologies
