Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in products or technical sales roles.

About the role

The Products Sales Manager is responsible to drive market expansion by identifying new business opportunities, developing new markets, and building a strong network of distributors and strategic partners. The position requires strong technical understanding, commercial judgment, and governance discipline to achieve targets, and support sustainable customer relationships.

What you’ll be doing
  1. Identify, evaluate, and develop new markets, regions, and customer segments
  2. Source, onboard, and manage new distributors and partners
  3. Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  4. Take ownership of client pre-qualification documents, surveys, and compliance submissions.
  5. Attend to new sales enquiries and lead quotation preparation
  6. Lead commercial negotiations with customers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual conditions.
  7. Ensure all negotiated terms are properly reviewed, approved, and documented in accordance with Company procedures.
  8. Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking for the region.
  9. Ensure accuracy and discipline in pipeline data and revenue projections.
  10. Prepare and submit periodic sales reports to Management.
  11. Support Management in business planning and decision-making with reliable sales analytics.
  12. Act as a key commercial interface with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  13. Support customer meetings, presentations, and technical/commercial discussions.
  14. Ensure customer expectations, commercial commitments, and assumptions are clearly communicated and aligned internally.
  15. Support effective handover from Sales to Project Business Unit upon award.
What we’re looking for
  • Qualifications & Experience
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
    • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries, with strong exposure to analytical products.
    • Proven experience managing regional/multi-country sales operations.
    • Demonstrated success in products or technical sales roles.
  • Leadership & Competencies
    • Strong technical understanding of Analytical products
    • Strong commercial, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is a strong advantage
    • Results-driven, resilient, and able to work under pressure
    • Willing and able to travel frequently across the assigned region
