Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an individual for a production role that involves collaborating with planning engineers and supervising production activities. The successful candidate will have an NITEC in a relevant field and ideally possess 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and enforcing ESD procedures. This role requires strong teamwork and a willingness to work shifts as necessary.

Job description

- Salary range: Up to $2500
- Working days and time: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5:30PM
- Working location: Ang Mo Kio

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Production Planner and Process Engineer to release assembly instructions, time tickets, and production travellers based on the Bill of Materials (BOM) and contractual requirements
• Prepare and manage line setup for production runs
• Plan daily production activities and assign operators to meet the production schedule
• Perform monthly shelf-life checks on materials and update the production schedule accordingly
• Ensure production runs according to schedule and that materials issued from the store match the pick list
• Enforce Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control procedures in the production area
• Oversee the packing and return of finished goods to the store, completing the necessary return-to-store (RTS) forms with QA endorsement
• Liaise with Production Engineers to clarify assembly processes and address any safety concerns in the workflow

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing environment are preferred
• Prior Experience in a Supervisory or Team Coordination role
• Competency in handling SMT components and performing repetitive manual processes with consistent quality
• Basic proficiency in documentation and data entry
• Open to Shift Work as Required to meet production demands
