A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a production coordinator responsible for scheduling and monitoring product flow. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, issue work orders, and liaise with various departments. Previous experience in production or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Plan, schedule, and monitor the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
Generate and issue timely manufacturing work orders to the production floor.
Prepare, print, and maintain product labels and all related production documentation.
Update and maintain accurate production schedule databases and ensure all documents are properly issued and filed.
Monitor inventory and supplies; prepare regular inventory listings and coordinate to ensure material availability.
Liaise with Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments to meet production requirements.
Track the use of office and factory supplies and place replenishment orders when necessary.
Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure safety/quality standards are met.
Provide administrative support to the production team, including coverage during colleagues’ absence.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Previous experience in production support, scheduling, or warehouse coordination is a plus, but on-the-job training will be provided.
NITECinLogistics Services, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related vocational discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP/MRP systems and label printing is advantageous.
Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
