Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders. The role requires a diploma or degree in Engineering or related fields and 2-4 years of experience in production planning or customer coordination. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. This position offers a standard working schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and candidates who can start immediately are preferred.

  • Experience in precision engineering or metal stamping is an advantage.
  • Available to start work immediately or with short notice.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecast
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, production schedules, and delivery commitments
  • Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing teams to meet customer requirements
  • Plan material requirements and monitor inventory levels to support production schedules
  • Track production progress and adjust plans to meet delivery commitments
  • Identify capacity constraints and work with relevant teams to resolve bottlenecks
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction
  • Review project process and provide updated status report to team members and management
  • Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Sales Operations team
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, or customer coordination roles
  • Experience in precision engineering / metal stamping is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with customers professionally
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Available to start work immediately or within short notice is an advantage
