Job summary

A leading healthcare technology company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections and testing of medical devices. The role entails using inspection tools, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Candidates should possess attention to detail, be able to work in a team, and ideally have prior experience in manufacturing. Operating hours are from 6:30 am to 3:15 pm. Transport will be provided at designated points.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing and quality control using a microscope.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of medical device products.
  • Conduct functional testing using valve testing equipment.
  • Verify manufacturing documents against component drawings.

Job description

Assesses devices in-process and upon completion to ensure regulatory and company guidelines have been met and devices meet operational standards as designed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of more complex components and/or finished medical device products using a wide variety of tools and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications while working at a level of greater independence with a higher level of productivity. Highlight and escalate work issues to Lead

  • Able to perform basic sewing procedures for Operators.

  • Perform functional testing of finished medical device products using both automated and manual valve testing equipment

  • Perform verification of manufacturing documents with component and device drawings

  • May control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement

  • Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping

Qualifications
  • Previous related in manufacturing and QC experience using microscope

  • Secondary education preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English, and good communication skills

  • Ability to use applicable tools and equipment, hand-eye coordination, and high manual dexterity

  • Full understanding of applicable inspection procedures

  • Continuously expands proficiency in inspection techniques

  • Ability to clearly describe and convey nonconformance issues, and enter them into QMS (Quality Management System)

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to effectively provide and accept feedback from colleagues

  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span ofinfluence/control

  • Able to work on 6.30am to 3.15pm. Transport will be provided at designated points.
