Overview

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Production
• Position Title: Production Engineer/ Production Planner
• Working Location: North East (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4100 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to effectively execute job orders.
• Oversee the production plan's execution, addressing any issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Ensure the final product adheres to quality standards and meets customer specifications.
• Escalate complex production issues to the Manager for timely resolution.
• Analyze order backlogs and forecasts to optimize production scheduling and priorities.
• Collaborate with Estimation, Purchasing, and Production teams to enhance operational efficiency and runtime.
• Maintain strict adherence to company standards and production policies to achieve organizational goals.
• Any other task as assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in manual and CNC machining processes.
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication, aircraft jigs & fixtures, mechanical assembly, and aircraft maintenance tooling.
• Proficiency with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
