Responsibilities

We are looking for an creative individual with a keen aptitude for and experience in factual storytelling.

Your job will revolve around ideating, researching, scripting and producing videos for CNA Insider's digital properties such as its YouTube channel. These include original in‑depth stories; explainers; spin‑offs from CNA's long‑form current affairs & documentary shows; and videos to grow audience engagement with our show brands.

Beyond video content creation, the role calls for someone with the savviness to use audience data insights to inform storytelling; and the versatility to imagine the many transmedia avenues of telling a story in close collaboration with other content makers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline
• At least 1 year's relevant work experience; newsroom experience is a plus.
• Excellent writing (scripting) skills, with an ability to tell stories engagingly and clearly.
• Critical thinker with creative ideas, curiosity, initiative and resourcefulness.
• Strong visual flair and directing skills. Technical video production, editing skills or motion graphic skills are a plus.
• Versatile with different forms of storytelling, from host‑driven to observational.
• Able to work independently, yet also work well collaboratively in a team.
• Good time management, able to thrive under tight turnaround times.
• Ability to host in front of the camera is a bonus.
